About ROH
Rhythm of Hope is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the proposition that each of us is in some way responsible for plight of the less fortunate and that each of us has the capacity to make a meaningful contribution to alleviating their disadvantage and suffering.
ROH Vision
We can no longer allow anyone to believe that the suffering of men, women and children in other places does not affect us all. The human journey is a shared adventure in which we all have the capacity to more fully realize our humanity through service to the less fortunate among us, if we will only exercise the will. By partnering with and facilitating aid to people helping themselves we can progressively restore the dignity of human spirit to uplift a few, who can uplift others, to organically grow our collective human potential on the path to a brighter future.
Mission
We work to create brighter futures for desperately poor high at-risk urban and rural populations, notably children, youth and women. We facilitate aid to resource starved individuals, projects, programs and communities working toward that end, undertake special projects, involve organizations like Engineers without Borders, and form and work through strategic partnerships. We seek and facilitate support from donors, encourage and facilitate socially responsible volunteering, and foster educational programs and cultural understanding to inform global awareness of human need.
Methodology
We employ Constructive Social Facilitation, or CSF, developed over many years by Phillip Wagner, as our core method. CSF involves establishing and maintaining long-term relationships to to single out honest, reliable individuals, projects, programs and communities which are effective and are having a notable constructive impact on the lives of the high at-risk constituencies we want to serve.
We provide humanitarian grants and/or confront emergency needs when we can. As noted in our mission statement we also form and work through strategic partnerships, undertake special projects and facilitate or participate in strategic collaborations.
